Snow day! Kinda.....

So it is that time of the year again!

Sheba would tell you it's her most favorite time of the year!

After all the hipe from the weather forcasters saying that we were going to get several inches of snow, Cailyn was quite disappointed to wake up to absolutely NO SNOW that morning! Thank goodness it started snowing later in the morning. We got just enough to make some snowballs, definately not enough for a snowman though!

Even Anslie got out for a little while to experience her "1st snow". (Don't worry I had three layers of clothes on her and a fleece blanket!) As you can see from the picture, she wasn't really bothered by the cold!

Cailyn was so excited when her friend, Benjamin, asked her to come over and play in the snow with him! They were a very sad when the rope broke on the sled because then they couldn't be pulled around. But they found other fun stuff to do with the snow....

Like have a snowball fight!

Oh, to be a child again!

After all the fun, we had to come inside to get warmed up with some yummy hot chocolate! Mmmmmmmm!

Then Cailyn told baby sissy about all the fun she had outside! And that when Anslie gets older, she will show her how to make snowballs and snow angels! :-) So sweet!
