"When you're smiling"!

Here we are at Cailyn's first dance recital!

Cailyn attends Ann Carroll School of Dance, which is the same dance school I went to (after moving to TN). They have their recitals at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC) in Nashville. It's a big occasion!

Although I had not planned it, I ended up being a class mom! Which basically means that I stay behind the stage with the 15 3-4year olds and keep them entertained during the 3 hour show. How hard can that be, right? Haha!

Here is the beautiful french braid put together by the one and only, daddy!

This is the original class mom, Melissa, and her daughter, Hannah! :-)

The dvd players were a lifesaver! (We would have 2 going at the same time!)

Here are the girls all lined up and ready to go on stage! (The rope was used to keep them not only in a line but in the right spots to go out on stage.)

I actually took these pictures from a litle cubby to the side of the stage where we could watch the girls do there dance!

They are all staring at the teacher doing the steps right next to me :-)

The final pose....you can see Cailyn with a big smile on her face!

She just loves performing!

Here is the whole class after they performed their dance! They were number five on the program of 52 dances! Needless to say, it was a loooooonnnnngggg time until the finale!

Here we are, after the perfomance in the lobby, where we had given our little star her flowers!
