T-ball!

After much thought, we decided to let our little princess join a t-ball team for the summer!

Now, if you have ever been around Cailyn, you know that she does not like to get dirty, she is very fragile when running around with the boys, and generally is a girly-girl! So what better way to toughen up our princess, then to put her in t-ball?

Here is Cailyn in her first game.

Now, for those of you that do not know the rules of t-ball.....
1) They do not keep score
2) Each child is given a chance to hit the ball off the tee
3) Each child is given the chance to 'catch' the ball when hit by opposite team

Once they hit the ball, the kids get to run to first base, then when the next child hits the ball, they run to second and so on and so forth.......

Always have good sportsmanship...."Good game!"

This game is all about supporting and encouraging your child!

We have had 4 games so far, and Cailyn's batting is getting better each time!

At the last game, while Cailyn was in the outfield,

she was found kneeling down and playing in the dirt......

I believe our princess is beginning to toughen up!

(It's a start anyways!)
