1st zoo trip of the year!

A day off from school + beautiful 75 degree day = a day at the zoo!

We decided to take Cailyn and Lahna to the zoo while Paw-paw and Grammy took a day to rest! We were very excited that Cailyn's friend Emma and her mommy, Denise, could join us!

The girls had a blast riding around the zoo in Cailyn's 'Safari Wagon'! And it gave daddy a great workout pulling them up and down all the hills!

First stop was the oh-so popular Meerkats!

The girls were very intrigued with each of the animals!

The next stop was the beautiful tigers!

Anslie had a great time riding around in her stroller and getting some fresh air on her first trip to the zoo! With her being a winter baby, she had to adjust to the sun since she hadn't really seen it before! It kept making her sneeze! Hehe!

The Unseen World was a hit with the girls. This is an inside exhibit of all the snakes, lizards, fish, etc.

It was fun to watch them try to find the 'surprise' in each window. Kinda like a scavenger hunt!
